Year 9
This term, our Year 9 students have been engaging in meaningful learning experiences that prepare them for both their senior years and life beyond school. Together, we explored how to plan effectively for senior exams, the responsibilities and safety considerations that come with part-time work, and how to present themselves professionally through writing resumes and cover letters.
A key focus has also been the development of study skills that will support them throughout their senior schooling. Alongside academic preparation, we’ve reflected on the importance of serving others, understanding that service not only benefits those around us but also helps us discover our God-given purpose.
Below are photos of students participating in mock interviews, an opportunity to practise real-world communication and build confidence for future pathways.

Year 11
Many of our Year 11 students have recently begun the Student Leadership application process, delivering speeches that were both inspiring and heartfelt. With passion, honesty, and humility, they reminded us that true leadership is grounded in service to others and modeled perfectly by Jesus. Each student spoke with a genuine desire to make a positive impact at ACC, demonstrating maturity and vision well beyond their years. They have now entered the interview phase, where our ACC school leaders will spend time getting to know each applicant more deeply—their character, motivations, and heart for leadership. We are excited to see how these emerging leaders will shape our school community in 2026.
