Year 10

Our Year 10 cohort is back hard at work in Term 2! For PASS this term, students are exploring how to find purpose in their work and life, gaining an understanding of their own values and learning how to detoxify their feeds in a world that relies heavily on social media and an online presence. 

These skills are particularly important given the pace at which online spaces are evolving and algorithms are controlling much of what we see.

Year 11

Our incredible Year 11 Cohort is rallying together for the World's Greatest Shave, and the cause is incredibly close to our hearts. The students are raising vital funds for the Leukaemia Foundation in a powerful show of solidarity for a peer currently battling blood cancer. Several brave students and teachers have already volunteered to shave or color their hair to reach our fundraising goal. These funds will fuel life-changing research projects and support services for patients and their families. We will be shaving and colouring on the last day of Term 2, June 26, 2026! We invite our entire secondary school community to get behind this inspiring initiative, by purchasing food and drinks from the canteen led by our Year 9 and 11 Business students at the Athletics Carnival in Week 9. Every donation, big or small, makes a tangible difference.

Year 12

Our Year 12s are working hard. We’re already almost halfway through the term and students are in the thick of assessment and exam preparations. Amidst all of this, a representative from the University of Sunshine Coast visited to speak to the cohort about post-school pathways. The 12s are also currently undergoing a financial literacy program called Banqer, a simulation where they have to manage finances, pay bills, apply for jobs, set up superannuation and generally try not to go too far into debt (there is a life lesson in here somewhere!). So next time you’re all at the dinner table, ask your student how their Banqer accounts are looking. The leaderboard changes quickly!

Finally, pencil Tuesday, 12th of August into your diaries – this is the momentous 100th last day of secondary school for our 2026 cohort!
